Ms. Adrienne Doung from LBUSD is a middle school math coach. She
demonstrates how to use the ladder method to find the LCM and GCF if
given three or more numbers. Questions this video answers How do I
find the LCM of three numbers? How do I find the Least Common
Multiple of three numbers? How do I find the Greatest Common Factor
of three numbers? How do I find the GCF of three numbers? How do I
find the Greatest Common Denominator of three numbers? How do I find
the GCD of three numbers? How do I use the Ladder Method if I have
three numbers? How do I use the slide method?

I really like Ms. Doung's explanation of finding LCM and GCF in this video. I think the only thing that could be improved in this video is the business on screen. By the end, there are a ton of numbers and colors and lines and things all over the screen. If she could keep it a little cleaner it would be much easier to follow. Other than that, I really liked this video.

Ms. Doung is organized in her problem solving. She does a nice job explaining each step she is taking. I really like the way she draws the L to find the least common multiple and then draws the G to find the greatest common factor. Overall, I think this method is good one for students to use, especially visual learners. However, it seems a bit convoluted at times, especially when crossing out possible solutions to the greatest common factor.
